“ Still my most favorite Mexican restaurant in Columbus. Staff is always friendly and attentive. Menu is excellent. Food is consistently fantastic. They give complimentary chips/salsa and beans. They are so good. Today I tried the margarita flight. It was not only fun but they each tasted great. My favorite was the pomegranate and the watermelon flavors. Highly recommend this place. Delicious! ”
“ 10 choices on a flight of margaritas who does that but Yum! Passion fruit Mango Pima Colada and Mango. Service- causal but friendly Food was good. Chips not overly salty but had a good crisp, Salsas - wide variety spice, mild and green bonus bean dip. Liked that you can get ground beef or shedded beef in the meals - other proteins offered. Very causal but friendly atmosphere- restaurant is bigger inside than it looks from outside. ”
“ Great Mexican food, especially carnitas. Delicious Margaritas. Prompt friendly service. Relaxed atmosphere. ”
“ Lupita's Mexican cuisine and bar is a restaurant that is built inside of a house. Although small inside there is enough seating inside to still have room. The vibe inside is very cool and laid back. It's a family owned business where the family actually works with the staff. The service was great and they answered all questions that I had about the menu. Ended up getting their steak and chicken fajitas, which tasted really good. Would definitely recommend. Chips and salsa come before the meal and it comes with three different dipping sauces to choose from. ”
“ I had a large group and received absolutely delicious food and drink. The service from Caesar was world class. A classy non corporate Mexican restaurant with wonderful ambiance and vibe. ”
“ The salsa and bean dip (complimentary) all delicious. Added a small queso, really good. Margs- blueberry/ pom and strawberry 5/5. Classic rocks with salt 4/5, could be stronger added a shot but flavor is good. The first time I went it was for taco week. I had the taco quesadilla with chicken the carne asada and the al pastor. Both good Tacos. Tried a couple of other times. Food remains fine, but nothing super exciting. Tres leches did not taste good or familiar to any tres leches I've ever had. Single layer cake that tasted like it was soaked in evaporated milk. It did not have a sweet dessert taste or have any icing. Would not recommend. Overall nice community spot, with good selection of tequila/ drinks at decent prices. Stronger than a 3 but not quite a four. If i could I'd give it 3.5! ”
“ Was craving Mexican on my way down to Columbus for work and found this place on Yelp!! I'm sooo happy that I stumbled across it. I sat at the bar and had a delicious skinny marg and the Al pastor tacos. The bartender Kevin was very friendly. The tacos were the best Al pastor tacos I've ever had and they were a good size!! Loved that they gave free chips and salsa... not to mention 3 different salsas with beans. Highly recommend this spot. Hope to come back to try more from their extensive menu. ”
“ Been meaning to come here, finally had the chance- then had to leave a few minutes in. Street parking. Entrance on side. Short staffed but friendly and fast service, at 1 on a weekday. She brought my horchata (great) and chips and salsa- which meant three kinds of salsa, plus standard chips, PLUS refried beans. A nice app in itself. Which was good, because I got a call and had to leave about 10 minutes in. I asked them to bag up the rest, which they did, and it was still plenty warm an hour later. I got the street corn, off the cob to be a bit neater. Good flavors, good corn, a nice app. Not big enough to share (at least not for a corn lover like me.) Then I got the lunch Porky Pig burrito. Carnitas, beans, salsa verde, etc. So. Good. Perfect carnitas, other nice flavors and textures. Plenty big, with rice and beans on the side, and I had leftovers. If I had eaten there I would have waddled out. As it was, a bit of a snack with the chips and salsa, then my meal an hour later, worked out fine. Lots of other stuff on the menu I want to try. I'll be back. ”
“ I am SO excited to have finally visited Lupita's! Came for lunch on a Saturday and was impressed from the first minute. The space is lovely and inviting - I can't remember the last time I went to a restaurant with white paper on the tables. Elevated and classy without being pretentious or coming with a lofty price tag. OUTSTANDING service. Everyone was so welcoming and kind. Chips, 3 salsas, and warm beans as a free starter (omg so good) and we each tried a lunch menu meal. I got the A1 burrito (A1 marinated steak, potatoes, onions, and I added mushrooms when offered), covered in queso blanco and it had a side of rice. Everything was super tasty and it was a generous lunch portion for only $10.99. Mr. got the lunch portion piggy burrito and it had rice and beans as sides and the carnitas was legit. I can't wait to come back and try more! Don't sleep on this place -- it's awesome! ”
“ If you live north of I-70, Lupita's is worth the trip south to Merion Village. Nice patio and an everyday happy hour + margarita flights are some of the highlights. The bean dip that came with the chips and salsa was a pleasant surprise, too. I split three "small plates" from their happy hour for dinner and left with leftovers. They're big enough to be regular entrees in a lot of places. 4 star taste with 5 star value, I would say. The rest of the menu was huge and offered many eye-catching options that tempt a return trip. ”
